Practice gives Peace
Thursday, December 1st, 2005
The holidays have a way of scattering our thoughts. We are easily distracted, and it can be difficult to feel at home with ourselves. Given these stresses, our practice becomes an important way to stay grounded and equipped to deal with pressures that come with the holidays. In this season of giving, I hope that BYSJ can give you needed moments of relief, relaxation and joy to make the best of this special time of year.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. – Leo Buscaglia
