Many of you are finishing up your 60 Day Summer Challenge – congratulations!
Join us for the 60 Day Challenge party – September 25 at 6:30 pm on Zoom – everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!
This favorite event celebrates those who are completing the Challenge, and we get to hear everyone’s unique story. Michele also honors those of you who haven’t yet returned and invites you to join in and say hi to your teachers and get a virtual hug. 🤗
“Maybe you haven’t practiced in the last 16-17 months, and it’s still not the time to come in, which I get, we understand. But I would just love it if you tuned in to the party. Listen to the stories, but most importantly connect. Just because you’re not doing the yoga doesn’t mean that you’re not part of this community. And just because you’re not doing the yoga doesn’t mean that you don’t have your yoga, you do. I’d love to see you!”
Join in on September 25 at 6:30 pm (Pacific) on Zoom

How our Challenges work
Practice 60 classes in 60 days, in-studio or online. Start any time in the first 15 days. Miss a day? Do a double.
Change your body, change your life!
“Give me 30 days; I’ll change your body. Give me 60 days; I’ll change your life.” Challenge yourself to accomplish something with your Bikram Yoga practice that’s beyond what you imagine you can do – it’s an opportunity to commit to YOU, to your health. After all, what’s the most important thing in your life? YOUR LIFE!
Why do it?
Benefits of a consistent practice include:
- Keep your cool anytime, anywhere
- Get a good night’s sleep
- Lose weight (physically and mentally)
- Make and keep a schedule
- Improve your concentration
- Finally, finally, lock your knee
- Feel less like a zombie, more like a human!
- Make new friends
- And many more!
We’ve heard it from hundreds of students. Think of your goals and desires, and sign up today.
How to do it
This challenge comes at no additional cost – we do this for YOU.
Your regular membership applies (our Monthly Unlimited membership is the most economical for daily practice.)
If you miss a day, you may do a double (two classes in one day) as a make-up. Triples are not allowed.
For every class you practice, add a star on the tracking board in the studio.
60 Day Winter Challenge – 2021
On April 3, 2021, we celebrated the accomplishment of the folks who completed the 60 Day Winter Challenge. It was unique in that everyone found a way to practice daily from their homes during the Covid pandemic, with interactive Zoom classes, livestreams of our studio classes, and YouTube audio instruction. Watch the video below where we share what this special time and practice meant for each of us.
Practicing over Zoom, I love the energy, and I love the connections with everyone. Teachers that I didn’t have before. Friends that you get to know a little better, and you make new friends. It’s like Yoga Camp – I love Bikram Yoga even more than I did before. It’s such an amazing blessing!
For me, the Zoom class is more intense. In the studio, I go into autopilot. Now I can’t; you know the teacher is watching you. I’ve received many more corrections. The teachers always see something about my posture that I have never noticed in the past. I appreciate this opportunity!
Lenora Inez Brown
It was so great to have an online experience and make new friends. I look forward to seeing people, chatting, and hearing how everybody else was doing. It has been a complete gift. I know I do things better, I KNOW I’m stronger.
Zoom classes are really special. If I travel, I can practice. At midnight, I can practice. I have back pain, and every time I do yoga, it’s gone. Bikram Yoga gives me the energy to keep going on. It’s a life journey for me!
I hesitated about online classes; it’s a different experience. But I think before I was in love with the heat. Now I’ve fallen in love with the yoga! Practicing on Zoom, I understand the postures more; there are more corrections, and I have more focus (no distractions!) I know I can practice at home and get better. I regret not joining Zoom Yoga sooner than I did!
At first, I wasn’t sure if I’d stick to it. By day ten, I knew I was going to do this as long as I’m alive! Bikram Yoga is the only way I stay sane. I am so grateful to have a group like this, to have BYSJ and their outstanding teachers.
Bikram Yoga is the ONE thing I’ve been happy to do consistently in my life. I’ve never had anything I loved so much.
Practicing Bikram Yoga on Zoom, I had to pay a lot more attention than when I’m in the hot room. It’s improved my technique. It feels a lot better, and I’ve really enjoyed it. Especially with my local studio closed, the BYSJ students and teachers are now my community.
