What is the Bikram Yoga 60 Day Challenge?
Bikram says “Give me 30 days, I’ll change your body. Give me 60 days, I’ll change your life.” Challenge yourself to accomplish something that’s just a little beyond what you thought you could do! Although the challenge is a commitment of time, it is more importantly a commitment to your health, wellness and spirit.
Sign up for the challenge and commit to practicing 60 consecutive days of yoga. If you travel, take a 90-minute Bikram yoga class and bring back a receipt proving that you kept up the practice each day. If you do miss a day, you can make up a class by taking two in one day.
While the challenge is tough, working towards this goal as a community of members makes it easier and fun!

“Finding Bikram Yoga is one of the best things I have ever done to my life. I started the practice 3 times a week in 2004. Over the years it not only shaped my body and improved physical condition – less sickness, more energy, relieved back pain, improved flexibility, the list goes on and on – but more importantly, gave me so much inner peace, inner strength, and confidence that helped me fight stress and take challenges.
In 2009, after 5 years of the practice, I became pregnant. With the help of our wonderful instructor Marialena who taught me the modified postures for pregnant women, I continued with the regular practice till due date. Through the 40 weeks, it helped regulate glucose level, reduce water retention, control weight, and alleviate back pain due to the baby weight. My son has been healthy and happy since day one. I would give lots of credit to the B.Y. practice.
The 60 Day Challenge pushed my limit to the next level. For 9 years I always gave myself excuse not to sign up, typical ones are like “3 times a week is enough for me, and I won’t have enough energy to do it everyday.
Luckily this year I finally decided to give it a try, and once again it completely changed my perspective. Yes I can do it and I DID it! Lesson learned: You are as strong as you think you are, so think stronger and then you will be!
