International Day of Yoga – Monday, June 21
🔑 Yoga is the key to the kingdom of your health.
🧘♂️ We will honor the essential practice of yoga with free classes all day, in-studio, outdoors, and online.
😎 Michele will lead an outdoor Karma Class at 9:15 am in the parking lot adjacent to the studio. It’s on the house and is open to everyone, so take the morning off and join us for this special gathering! (The Zoom and indoor classes at this time slot will be canceled.)
👩🏽💻 Rajashree and Michele will get together on Zoom at 2:00 pm to discuss all things yoga.
🏠 Studio doors will be open 9:00 am–6:00 pm. Drop in to chat with teachers and staff, and check out our state-of-the-art facility. Welcome home!
“Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world, and nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help in well-being. Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day.” — Narendra Modi, UN General Assembly
Yoga Challenge Q+A – Saturday, August 7, 2:00 pm (Pacific)
This quarterly online discussion is free and open to everyone. Our next session comes at a good time; it will be held during the Summer 60 Day Challenge.
Yoga Q+A – held on May 1, 2021
It’s great to see so many folks both returning to the studio and continuing their practice with us online. Restarting can bring up many questions and concerns, so we offered a free Zoom gathering to discuss the postures and practice, hosted by Michele Vennard and Matt and Sarah Newman.
Yoga Challenge Q+A – held on January 30, 2021
With 26 online classes per week and a challenge to practice 60 classes in 60 days going on, we found that having an online gathering to discuss the postures and practice was helpful, and we plan to have more of these in the future. This Q+A was hosted by Michele Vennard and Matt and Sarah Newman. Have a look and listen, and be sure to join us next time.
